Billabong Pro, JBay 2010

What an incredible weekend, in an amazing country!  Friday evening started off with myself, Bobby Martinez, Timmy Reyes and Jordy Smith doing a signing in Port Elizabeth.  Saturday, the sun was shining down on us Saffas...as it always is... the surfers at JBay joined in with the locals  in true spirit to voice our concerns over the very sad plans to build a nuclear power plant on precious land... and what a show it was...

The heats were superb and everyone was blowing vuvuzelas from the beach in support of Jordy Smith, O'neill Team rider and South African sensation

On Sunday we had local legend and hero, JORDY SMITH, take home the Billabong Pro trophy - the first SAFFA to take home the trophy in 25 years!!!

The Billabong Pro was an outstanding success which had everyone excited from beginning to end.  We were so proud of Jordy Smith, local legend, O'neill Ambassador and pro surfer for taking the title!

What a CHAMPION!  Don't you just love the Aloe trophy...stunning!

We celebrated Jordy's victory as if there was no tomorrow!
